Living Life to the Max Part 4
Part 4: All Good Things Must Come to an End
(**) = Part of the Challenge/Goals
Ellen was jogging less and less. And she'd come home just wiped out and needing a nap each time.
She spent most of her timing reading Gardening Books and Baking when she wasn't finishing up what was going to be her final book, a screenplay titled: This is My Life. (**)
Ellen decided to have a swimming pool installed. She really wanted to keep up her fitness, but jogging was getting to be too much for her. It only took a week for the contractor to have it completely installed and soon, Ellen was enjoying some nice relaxing swims. Though she still got tired after. (**)
Ellen's garden was coming along well. She enjoyed the quiet time outside. And Gia always came out every evening to check on Ellen. They'd spend the evening stargazing and talking. Gia was aware of Ellen's tiredness, and seemed to paint less and check on Ellen more.
Gia had a wonderful idea one evening. She wanted to throw a party and invite all of Ellen's friends over. It was a small get together, as poor Mila had passed and poor Jackson had become an elder. But, it was a great time, with great friends, and good food.
The next day, Ellen and Gia decided to pamper themselves to day at the local Spa. It had been a little while since either of them had went. What a better time than now and what better company than each other!
They both got deep tissue back massages, and wonderful foot massages. The ladies were truly relaxed by the time they got home that afternoon. Though Ellen needed a bit of a nap to recover such relaxation.
The girls really spent their time together. Ellen knew Gia wasn't ready to hear it, but Ellen had went to an attorney and made up a will. Gia would get everything Ellen had when her time to pass has come. Gia, always with tears in her eyes, tells Ellen she isn't worried about that at all.
One afternoon, Gia was coming to check on Ellen during one of her naps. Something that had became routine for Gia. And She found Ellen collapsed at the foot of the bed.
Grim showed shortly to collect Ellen's soul.
Gia had Ellen's tombstone put next to Ellen's garden that she loved and perfected with so much of her time. It was a nice resting place for Ellen.

Living Life to the Max: Part 3
(** Means related to a Goal)
Part 3: Becoming more accomplished!
Spending days writing and evenings on her garden, the garden was coming along rather quickly.
Part 3: Becoming more accomplished!
Ellen and Gia’s life fell
into a routine. Breakfast together in the morning, fresh prepared by Ellen,
where they’d talk about their lastest creative activity. Ellen would tell Gia
about her current book and Gia would tell Ellen what she painted the day before
and how much she commissioned them for. (**)
It wasn’t long before Ellen
began feeling cooped up again. Over breakfast she invited Gia to go to the park
in Oasis Springs with her, but Gia was feeling the bug today, and wanted to
stay home and paint.
Ellen headed off for the park
after breakfast. She spent some time fishing, and then she walked around to see
what collectibles where around. She still needed a couple metals to complete
her home collection. (**)
Along the way, she noticed
this beautiful lemon tree, ripe with lemons. It got her thinking… it would be
nice to have a little garden with flowers and a couple fruits. She picked a couple lemons, happy she had a
new activity to add to her life. She was definitely going to live life to the
max!
She was growing hungry, and had noticed some grills near the
seating area. On the way, she noticed a little blackberry bush hiding near some
rocks. A quick inspection showed they weren't ready for harvest yet, but Ellen
really wanted some for her garden she’d make at home. She’d just wait until
they were ready. It was nice being out of the house.
While she was eating the Park Ranger, Joanne, stopped by and began talking with her. Ellen
mentioned the blackberries. Joanne said they were very near being in season and
should be ready to harvest in a day or two.
While wondering around after dinner (Ellen just wasn’t
feeling up to a jog today) she meet a elder sim named Mila Munch. Mila was a
foodie, and they became fast friends talking about different meals. (**)
Ellen spent two days at the Park, waiting for the blackberries
to become ready for harvest. Each night she called Gia to check in (as was Gia
request).
Finally the blackberries where ready to be harvested! Ellen
quickly picked them and headed home. She enjoyed being out of the house, but
she sure missed Gia. Phone calls weren’t the same as their mornings together.
Spending days writing and evenings on her garden, the garden was coming along rather quickly.
Over breakfast one morning, Gia had a brilliant idea. She
suggested they take a vacation to nearby Granite Falls. They both had saved up a
good little sum and Gia thought they could use a break from being stuck in the
house. They opted to rent the larger 2 bedroom cabin, but vowed to spend most
of their time outdoors. In truth, Ellen was getting far too old to “rough it”
in a tent, so she was thankful Gia suggested the cabin. (**)
As promised, they roasted marshmellows by the fire, they
played horseshoes together, and did some fishing. It was Gia’s first time
fishing. She never had an interest before, but she enjoyed the time with Ellen.
She even managed to catch a perch! Ellen even has decided to replace a couple
of her smaller trophy fish with a couple neats ones from Granite Falls (**)
That night, by the fire, Ellen told Gia a ghost story she
had heard as a child. Gia really enjoyed hearing the tale!
For dinner, Ellen was getting better at the Gourmet meals
that she had learned from Mila (**).
That night, while the girls slept, a ghost came by and was
haunting the outside light on the front porch. (Unfortunately he disappeared
before I could get a pic) Was it the spirit of the man in Ellen’s ghost story? We may never know since
he disappeared so quickly, neither girl got to meet him.
Soon, maybe too soon, it was time to go home. The girls were
feeling more relaxed and happy heading back to NewCrest. Although Ellen wouldn’t
tell Gia, she was starting to feel more and more tired.
Ellen is accomplishing so much in her life, but she wants to
accomplish a few things more. What is going on with her that she is suddenly feeling
tired all the time?

Living Life to the Max Part 2
(** Means related to a Goal)
Part Two: Exploring Life
Having been cooped up in the house for the most part of the last few months, Ellen decided to do a morning jog daily. (**)
But, Ellen was still pretty lonely while Gia was at school. She noticed quite a few people a few houses down, near the creek, fishing. What a fun way to meet new people! (**)
Sure enough, one day while fishing, she meet a very nice little girl named Elsa Bjergsen (**). Little Elsa was fishing as well, when they began to discuss the different baits to use for fish. Ellen was pleasantly surprised at Elsa's knowledge on the subject. They became friends rather quickly. (I don't know if it's another bug/glitch with my game or by design, but Ellen couldn't take a selfie with Elsa, so this was the best I could do).
Jogging each morning, fishing during the day, and meeting new friends has kept Ellen pretty busy. But she makes sure to cook Gia a home-cooked meal each meal every day. (**) They spend that time catching up with school and day to day life.
Gia has worked hard at her school work and finally raised her grade to an A in high school. The future looks bright for the first time since her parents passing.
One evening, while Ellen was wrapping up her fishing for the day, she meet a man name Jackson Bowie (adult). (**) They ended up spending several hours talking about life, kids, and their spouses (though poor Bobby was no longer here, Ellen still loved him with her whole heart).
Another great person that Ellen meet was at the park where she had meet Gia. A young woman named Sonya Liang. (YA) Sonya and Ellen were as different as night and day, but they embraced their differences and enjoyed telling each other stories. They became friends very fast (**).
In no time at all, Gia's birthday was upon them. After a private party, Gia and Ellen talked about Gia's future. Gia is more interested in art, having watched Ellen painting. She asked Ellen if it would be okay for her to stay and use Ellen's easel that she no longer uses. Tears came to Ellen's eyes. She'd be honored to have Gia stay with her. For as long as she liked.
Ellen is thinking of spending her time writing now that Gia will be in the creative room painting. They can spend that time, together, enjoying each other's company.
